Join Three Rivers in welcoming Geoff Tate back to the winery for a special barrel sampling of his 2007 INSANIA wine. Geoff will be hanging out in the barrel room pouring samples for $15 per person for two hours only(12:00pm to 2:00pm), on Saturday December 6th only! We will apply the tasting fee towards the purchase of any INSANIA futures which are $35 per bottle. The wine is slated to be released in February 2009 and only 190 cases will be bottled. Metal fans rejoice! The holiday season will began a little earlier this year when Armoury Records, distributed by Eagle Rock Entertainment, releases the star-studded metal compilation, We Wish You a Metal Xmas and a
Headbanging New Year, on October 14th. The album will feature performances from such icons as Alice Cooper, Vinny Appice, Lemmy Kilmister, Ronnie James Dio, Dave Grohl, Chuck Billy, Tommy Shaw and more, as they put a heavy metal twist on popular holiday songs.

We Wish You a Metal Xmas and a Headbanging New Year is the culmination of the creative efforts of Wendy Dio, Bob Kulick, and Brett Chassen who orchestrated the project, and assembled the all-star cast of heavy metal masters. “This is a metal CD you will want to listen to all year round. It has been a very exciting and exhausting project, but we have managed to get an all-star cast together.” said Wendy Dio.

Well actually it was my idea but once we recorded them, the rest fell into place with Ronnie James Dio, Alice Cooper and the rest really making this Xmas cd something every metal and hard rock fan should have. Insania Taking Pre-Orders

Created by Geoff Tate of Queensryche and Three Rivers Winemaker Holly Turner, Insania is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Petit Verdot, 15% Merlot and 5% Malbec. This wine will not be bottled and shipped until February 2009 so Insania is only available by advance purchase at this time. Production will be around 200 cases.
