:: Evan set out to "vibe-out" his drum approach to the GT project by producing original drum loops to combine with acoustic drum parts.  The different sound sources in his loops include real and electronic percussion as well as other rhythmic elements run through filters, distortion, and stomp boxes, then layered and combined.  All but two songs on the GT disc feature original drum loops in addition to the acoustic drums.  On the recording, Evan played Gretsch and Ludwig drum kits, a Bearing Edge wood hooped snare, UFIP and Zildjian cymbals, a Yamaha sampler, and used Emagic Logic Audio Platinum for pre-production, looping, and composing.
