:: As a founding member, drummer and producer of seminal "punk jazz" instrumental group SADHAPPY, Evan has also recorded/produced numerous label releases out of his studio, Zulu Sound, including Eyvind Kang "The Story of Iceland"/Tzadik, Aiko Shimada "Blue Marble"/Tzadik, Ponga "Remixes"/Loosegroove), Very Special Forces Eponymous/ Periscope, and many others.  An upcoming release Evan mixed at Zulu features composer and violinist Eyvind Kang (William S. Burroughs, Bill Frisell, Laurie Anderson), vocalist Mike Patton (Faith No More, Mr. Bungle), violinist Michael White (John Coltrane, Sun Ra, Pharoah Sanders), and guitarist Tim Young (David Sylvian), in addition to an 18 piece European chamber orchestra.
