Three Rivers Winery is offering the 2009 Geoff Tate Insania red in laser etched, hand painted, signed 3.0 liter bottles (equivalent to 4 regular size wine bottles); production is limited to 20 bottles, $500 plus tax each, so get yours reserved today. Geoff and Scott will be in Walla Walla for Holiday Barrel Tasting, on Dec. 4 & 5. We will barrel taste the 2009 Insania red with Geoff and Holly being on hand to speak with people. Geoff and Scott and friends will play a holiday acoustic set at Three Rivers Winery over this weekend. Book lodging early as it runs out quick. This is a very fun weekend with a lot to see taste and do.

We’ve had a lot of ‘rock star’ winemakers come through these doors over the years, but this might be the first time we’ve had an actual ‘rock star’ doing something here. Geoff Tate, of the band Queenryche, will be here to sign purchased bottles of his eponymous Columbia Valley Bordeaux blend entitled, simply, ‘Insania’. The band is in town for an event at The Grove in Anaheim the following night.

On Friday, July 23 BottleRock Downtown Los Angeles will welcome multi-platinum selling, Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Geoff Tate of Queensrÿche for an exclusive signing of his wine – Insania.

A passion for wine, beer, food, and music is the driving force behind BottleRock. They are the perfect wine trifecta — wine bar, restaurant, and wine retail shop – just 1 1/2 blocks from LA Live. BottleRock offers a wide array of international renowned wines and world craft beers that pair well with our thoughtfully creative cuisine. The signing will take place in BottleRock’s Lounge from 12.00pm – 4.00pm. Bottles of Insania will be available for retail purchase for just $35 and available by the glass for $15. BottleRock will be serving lunch and light food beginning at 11.30am.

Insania is a blend from six different vineyards throughout the Columbia Valley, the 2008 Insania truly captures the bold ripeness and rich texture of a red Bordeaux blend. A cooperative project between Geoff Tate and Holly Turner, the winemaker for Three Rivers, the Insania blend is perfect for pairing with well-marbled red meats, rich pasta dishes or dark chocolate.

The first vintage of Geoff Tate Insania Red is sold out. Only 2 Whole Foods stores have any left. The Whole Foods in Chandler, AZ has a limited Quantity and will have Geoff Tate and Holly Turner in the store to sign bottles the day they offer it for sale. The other store will be announced soon.
