After completing a degree at Berklee College of Music, Alex pursued his love of performing and producing, finding his place among talented players and engineers in and around Boston. He worked at a renowned local recording studio for several years before touring the world as FOH for legendary artists such as Powerglove, Angra (Brazil), Betraying the Martyrs, and Geoff Tate (Queensrÿche).

In 2021 Alex was given the incredible opportunity to join Geoff Tate’s Operation: Mindcrime band on guitar and backup vocals. He is currently co-producing several upcoming records alongside Geoff himself and distinguished guitarist Kieran Robertson. As soon as the apocalypse ends the band will be embarking on a world tour celebrating the 30^th anniversary of the Empire album!  

Alex’s solo project, LEKSI, has an impressive discography out on all streaming platforms and a new LP due to be released mid-2021 featuring a handful of spectacular guest artists. On the fringes of pop, rock, and progressive music is where you’ll find Alex “LEKSI” Hart, tinkering away with the roaring tones of electric guitars, the ecstatic push of modern synths, and soul-piercing vocals.
