Amaury Altmayer is a French guitarist renowned for his dynamic performances and contributions to various rock and metal projects. He gained significant recognition as a member of the alternative rock band No Hugs, formed in Boston, Massachusetts, in 2015. The band achieved notable success, including winning the 2015 “Boston Battle of the Bands” and headlining festivals such as Westbrook Live at 212 Halloween Festival and Salem’s Halloween Festival.
In addition to his work with No Hugs, Altmayer has collaborated with esteemed musicians in the rock and metal scene. Notably, he spent a week recording with John Moyer, bassist for the band Disturbed, in his hometown. This collaboration highlights his versatility and ability to engage with prominent figures in the industry.
Altmayer’s talent and dedication led him to join Geoff Tate’s touring band, where he has been instrumental in delivering powerful performances.
